Candace Camp's A Dangerous Man

Unable to resist this book’s premise— an American widow is mistaken for a “gold-digger” in Regency England— I sunk my teeth into Ms. Camp’s historical romance.  I found the arguments between the hero, Lord Neale and the heroine, Elenore entertaining: especially after Elenore attempts to punch Lord Neale during one of them.  Plus, the secondary story of Italian political intrigue did not drag the story along.  If anything, it enhanced it.

I’m glad I’ve read this book, and I’m going to add Candace Camp to my short list of writers I automatically read, or purchase.  ;)
