Yet Another Apology ;)

Good evening.

I notice that it has been a while since I last posted, and once again, I apologize for my tardiness.  Although RL has a way with putting road-blocks in front of me, I am determined to keep writing here until it no longer possible for me to do so (which I’m sure will be not for quite some time).

Hopefully, making checklists will help me keep on track this year.  :)

Why It Took Me So Long

Good morning!

I’d like to apologize for taking so long to post a reply.  Long story short, I had not been able to get rid of the unwanted guest who spoofed my computer way back in April until a few weeks ago.  A extremely frustrating experience I would not even wish on my worst enemy, and one I do not wish to repeat ever again.

So let’s try this again:  It is my goal to post here on a regular basis, and make some changes to my blog, beginning with monetizing it.  :)  As you can see, I’ve changed its look, and layout.

If I don’t post some more later today, then most likely, I’ll post again later this week.  Until then, have a happy autumnal equinox.  :)

Enjoying My Day

At this moment, I’m just enjoying my day.  I’ve spent the past week organizing my thoughts and my notes; hopefully, I’ll have some stuff for you to read soon.  My eyes are feeling kinda’ dry and itchy, so I’m going to go now.  Perhaps I’ll post again tomorrow.

Hot Spring Day.

Good Afternoon!

Long time no see!

I suppose y’all thought I’ve either forgotten about blogging, or just plain goofing off.

It has been a little bit of both.  It’s a little hard to blog and be enthusiastic about it when it feels like a chore.  So I decided to spend more time catching up on reading my 52 books for 2008 instead.

I’ll try to post some more stuff later this week, but I make no promises.

Deciding What to Blog About, and My Inhibitions.

I’ve been inspired by a bloggerseeds’ question about how do I decide what to blog about, and what my inhibitions are.  After careful consideration, I must say that I take Mr. Asimov’s to heart, and I blog about those things that I find fascinating.  In that respect, I have a few essays I’m working on to add to my blog.  By the same token, however, I try not to take myself too seriously, and I try to include spontaneous observations as well.  I also add fluffly fillers like and — there’s no point to blogging if you can’t have fun.

I do have some inhibitions about blogging since it is a public process.  As a result, I try to write my posts as if my mom is going to read them.  In contrast, I have found there are some bloggers who feel that blogging is a completely uninhibited process and as a result they feel you shouldn’t tell anyone that you are blogging, and write as crassly and crudely as you want.

On a personal level, that kind of blogging isn’t for me.  What is the value of being anonymously obnoxious other than obtaining cheap laughs?  I much rather make a positive contribution to the blogosphere by articulating my thoughts about what I find intriguing in the world— both real and imagined.
